Trustees in the Know 2017 Part 1
issue of TrusteeLTA has had great success with our regional training sessions titled Trustees in the Know. We are in the planning stages for the first one to be held in 2017. The general outline and topics are listed here. Final details and updates will be forthcoming, so look for our Executive Director’s e-mail blasts and check our website as we get closer to the dates.
Location: Broome County Public Library in Binghamton, NY
Date: May 6, 2017
Times: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm
The goal is to offer three working sessions on the general topics of: Accounting Basics, Legal Issues, and Revisioning Your Library Space. All topics will be of value to trustees of large, small and rural libraries. We may also have a “tech lab” available so attendees can get help with their e-readers and tablets. Refreshments and lunch will be included for the event.
We are grateful to Steve Bachman, Executive Director of the Four County Library System for helping LTA work on the details of topics, speakers, and location.
Mark your calendars now so you can join other trustees at the In the Know session in May. You’ll be glad you attended.
