John McCarthy Bio

John McCarthy is an educator, data-hound, novelist, and library lover. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Hudson Valley Community College teaching General Psychology and Human Development, and comes to the LTA with almost two decades of experience analyzing information for the New York State Assembly.

John was the Board President for his home library, the Bethlehem Public Library, during its hundredth anniversary, and has served one term on the LTA board, the last year acting as Secretary. After his term ended, he continued to volunteer with LTA activities.

John also writes and self-publishes thriller novels using his training as a Psychologist. His first novel, Bad Habits, is available on Amazon as a paperback and an E-book.

John comes to us with a vision to take LTA to another level, with more activities and more resources to share with our members to help them take their own organizations higher. Feel free to get in touch with him or any of our board members to see what we can do for you.
